Taiken Kobo Rokuroza is a place where visitors can experience everything from shaping with a potter's wheel, to grinding and firing. The potter's wheel shaping room contains six potter's wheels, one gas furnace and one electric furnace for firing. Shaping with the potter's wheel takes around half an hour and professional potters will provide you with careful instruction, so even beginners can have an authentic pottery-making experience free of worry. Why not experience the wonderful sensation of touching clay and giving it a shape? Your creation will be sent to you a few days later in the post (pay-on-delivery). Moreover, at Rokuza, you can watch demonstrations of potter wheel forming and participate in a tour of the processes involved in making porcelain.
