Yobuko Morning Market (60 min.) The Yobuko Morning Market is said to have begun in the Taisho Period (1912-1926). It is one of Japan's three largest morning markets, on par with those of Wajima city in Ishikawa prefecture and Takayama city in Gifu prefecture.

Underwater Observation Ship "Zeela" (50 min.) Zeela is a submarine ship shaped like a whale which glides slowly around the sea of Yobuko. Passengers can take in the underwater scenery at their leisure from Zeela's windows, which are submerged to a depth of 1.2 meters below the sea surface.

Karatsu Castle (60 min.) Karatsu Castle, a symbol of the city, was constructed in 1608 after seven years beginning in 1602 by the first lord of the Karatsu Domain, Hirotaka Terasawashimanokami.

Hikiyama Exhibition Hall (30 min.) Karatsu Kunchi Festival is certainly the highlight event of Karatsu's autumn season. The hikiyama (or giant floats) which are the main stars of Kunchi, are on display all year round here at Hikiyama Exhibition Hall, which is located next to Karatsu Shrine.

Niji-No-Matsubara (30 min.) Niji-no-Matsubara, stretching along the Karatsu Bay coastline, is designated as a national scenic beauty spot and is considered one of the three greatest pine forests of Japan together with Miho-no-Matsubara and Ama-no-Hashidate. Niji-no-Matsubara is approximately 5 km in length, 1 km wide and made up of around 1 million Japanese Black Pine trees.
